This semester I worked on a “House for a Poet” with students from the third semester… the project to design a House for a Poet in the City … a challenge … not just to create a special space to live and work in (Architecture!) but also to make the jump from Pencil to CAD in one semester … A great emphasis was made on the advantages of thick walls and the use of materials such as Brick, Stone and Earth … No concrete … Unfortunately the last weeks had to go online so we were not able to do a little exhibition to show the very nice 1:50 models that the students made… So now I have 41 beautiful Poet house Prototypes to hang in the empty halls… May the students return soon it is far too quiet here …
